Eric Heins
Filmmaker, Artist, Storyteller, Eric Heins is an award-winning filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist whose work blends movement, myth, and imagery into emotionally resonant stories. His background as a teacher and in performance informs a cinematic style that is rhythmic, intimate, and deeply human. Alongside projects such as Mystic Dog Oracle and Vinnie the Vegetarian Vampire, Eric uses film as a tool for empathy and transformation. With When a Child Screams, he channels that vision toward one of the most urgent issues of our time—giving voice to women and children silenced by trauma and sparking dialogue that leads to healing and change.
